The Columbia River Compact agencies of Oregon and Washington met today to review the ongoing non-Indian commercial fisheries and took the following actions:
Non-Indian Fisheries

Fall Chinook Commercial Fishery |
| Rescinded the previously adopted commercial fishing period below.

11 PM Tuesday August 26 to 5 AM Wednesday August 27 (6 hrs)

Select Area Commercial Fisheries
The following rule was adopted by Compact action in concurrent OR/WA jurisdiction waters and by the state of Oregon or Washington in state waters.

Blind Slough/Knappa Slough Fishery |
| The following rule change to gear was made to the previously adopted ongoing non-Indian Select Area commercial fishery. Rule change is in bold.

Season: |
Open 7 PM to 7 AM (12 hours) nightly during the following week:
Tuesday September 2 - Friday September 5 (3 nights)

| Gear: |
In both Blind Slough and Knappa Slough fishing areas, legal gear is restricted to a 9¾" maximum mesh size restriction through September 5 and a 6-inch maximum mesh size thereafter, net not to exceed 100 fathoms in length, and no weight restriction on leadline. Use of additional weights and anchors attached directly to the leadline is allowed.
