Kaleetan

You will leave the crowds behind at beautiful Kaleetan Lake. The 10-mile hike in passes by Pratt, Lower Tuscohatchie, and Windy Lakes with many more jewels a short side trip away. At Kaleetan you can expect to find good fishing for Eastern Brook Trout, Coastal Cutthroat trout, and the occasional Rainbow Trout. From Lower Tuscohatchie Lake the trail drops 400 feet into the Pratt River. Crossing the Pratt can be hazardous during high water.

Getting here:

From Seattle drive east on I-90 to exit 47 (Asahel Curtis/Denny Creek). Turn north over the freeway, turn left at the T, and drive to the nearby Pratt Lake-Granite Mountain parking area.
