Snoqualmie Lake

From the trail head follow the old Taylor River road now converted into a trail. At .25 miles the road splits left to Quartz Creek - go forward and follow to the end of the road 6.3 miles - Trail #1002 to Snoqualmie Lake heads up and to the left from here. At a little over 8 miles you will reach Snoqualmie Lake. There are numerous camp sites around the outlet end of this alpine giant. Those with a raft will enjoy exploring the whole lake - It can be very brush to walk around.

Getting here:

From Seattle drive I-90 east to exit 34. Go left and follow 1 mile past the truck stop to the Middle Fork Rd. Go right. From Seattle, drive east on I-90 to exit 34 (Forest Road 56). Continue up the Middle Fork Snoqualmie Road for 12.5 miles to the bridge over the Taylor River and the junction with Taylor River Road. Stay to the left and follow for 1 mile to the trail head.
