Scenic Lake Valhalla sits north of Stevens Pass on the Pacific Crest Trail. A moderate 5.5 mile journey on the well beaten path of the crest trail #2000 will lead you to the north shore of the lake. A large beach makes for a great afternoon destination of fishing and swimming. There are pleanty of angling opportunities from shore with lots of room to back cast for the fly fisherman. A healthy poplulation of Westslop Cutthroat Trout will keep every angler busy. Enjoy the view of Lichtenburg Mt. while having lunch and fishing the afternoon away.
Getting here:
Drive US 2 east from Everett to Stevens Pass ski area. Park on the north side of the road at the north east end of the parking area for the Pacific Crest Trail head. Restroom available.
