Dog Lake is located east of White Pass along the north side of Highway 12 in the Wenatchee National Forest. Although it is open to fishing year-round, this high-elevation lake (4207 feet) is not very fishable until the ice & snow cover has receded (mid to late May or early June). Fishing is very good for stocked, catchable size (9 - 13 inch) rainbow trout throughout the spring and summer. Brook trout are also present.
Ice fishing is becoming increasingly popular at this easily accessible lake in recent years.
A small U.S. Forest Service campground and rough boat launch is located adjacent to the lake.
Two-pole fishing is allowed
Shoreline access: Good - Good access off Hwy 12, U.S. Forest Sevice campground / land around the lake.
