This lake is seven miles north of Chattaroy off Highway US-2, with a year-round open season. Largemouth bass, yellow perch, and black crappie in spring, fall and winter through the ice are the best bets. There is a 9-inch minimum size, 10-fish limit on black crappie here. This lake has a reputation as an excellent largemouth bass lake with more than a few 4- to 6-pound bass caught each year. Some brown trout yearling plants are made.
