About three miles east of Ellensburg alongside I-82 accessed via Thrall Road, the lake is open to fishing year round.
Fishing should be excellent for 10 to 14-inch rainbow trout during the early spring and summer season. The lake is also stocked with jumbo rainbow trout (1-1.5 lbs each). Brood stock rainbows in the 6- to 12-pound range are stocked in late fall.
Panfish may also be caught.
Good daytime access facilities for shore anglers and car-topper boats, but internal combustion engines are prohibited. WDFW access and some private shoreline areas. No camping.
Two-pole fishing is allowed
Shoreline access: Good - Good shoreline access along the west end of the lake.
