This small pond, found along the railroad tracks west of Fishhook Park (east of Burbank) is formed by seepage from Ice Harbor Dam reservoir. It is open year-round but warms early so provides better fishing in early spring. Fishing is from the bank only; fishing from floating devices is prohibited. Fish Hook Pond is under statewide general rules of no minimum size and a five trout daily limit.
Fishhook Park, a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Park with day use and overnight camping is located about a 1/4 mile to the east of this pond.
Two-pole fishing is NOT allowed
Shoreline access: Good - Park in gravel parking lot outside the entrance to Fish Hook Park and use trail that is east of the railroad tracks to walk to the pond (~0.7 miles). You should not enter the park or cross the railroad tracks to access the pond.
