Lake Sacajawea, historically known as Fowlers Slough, is located in a 67-acre park in the middle of the city of Longview. It is a former channel of the Cowlitz River that was dredged in 1924.
Catchable Rainbow Trout and Brown Trout are planted from January to May and Rainbow Trout broodstock are planted in late winter. Largemouth Bass, Yellow Perch, Bluegill Sunfish, Warmouth and other sunfish species are also caught. Grass Carp have been planted in the past but it is illegal to fish for or retain Grass Carp.
Two-pole fishing is allowed
