Season opens March 1st and continues through November 30th. This is a very popular lake for flyfishing. Selective gear rules apply so be sure to check the regulations pamphlet for special size limits. In March, April and May this lake has consistent insect hatches that make flyfishing productive. The late closure in November can make for an excellent opportunity to fish brown trout in the late fall. If you like to catch large trout this is a lake you should investigate. Please keep in mind that the boat launch is owned and maintained by the City of Medical Lake and that all types of motors are prohibited on this lake.
Two-pole fishing is allowed
Special fishing restrictions:
- Selective gear rules in effect
Shoreline access: Good - Anglers can access this lake from various locations along the trail system around the lake. Users should check land ownership prior to accessing the shoreline.
