2018/2019 Sport Fishing Rules Pamphlet updates and clarifications. These are corrections to the pamphlet, they are not emergency rules.

MARINE AREAS 3 and 4 - 20 Fathom Restriction BOTTOMFISH: May 9-Labor Day: Fishing for or possession of BOTTOMFISH (except LINGCOD, SABLEFISH, and PACIFIC COD when halibut is open) is prohibited seaward of a line approximating 20 fathoms from Bonilla-Tatoosh line south to the Queets River.

KYDAKA POINT CLOSURE - July 1-Sept. 3: waters south of a line from Kydaka Point westerly approximately 4 miles to Shipwreck Point CLOSED to fishing for SALMON.

MARINE AREA 9 - Hood Canal Fishery (Waters of Area 9 south of a line from Foulweather Bluff to Olele Point) - SALMON: July 16-Aug. 15: CLOSED. Jan. 1-Apr. 15: CHINOOK - min. size 22". Other SALMON species - no min. size. Daily limit 2. Only 1 hatchery CHINOOK may be retained. Release COHO and wild CHINOOK. Aug. 16-Sept. 30: No min. size. Daily limit 2 Release CHINOOK, CHUM, and wild COHO.

MARINE AREA 10 - SALMON: July 16-Aug. 31: CHINOOK - min. size 22". Other SALMON species - no min. size. Daily limit 2. Only 1 hatchery CHINOOK may be retained. Release CHUM and wild CHINOOK. See Harbor Island (Duwamish Waterways) Special Rules, Shilshole Bay Closure, Elliott Bay Closure, and Sinclair Inlet Fishery. Jan. 1-Mar. 31: CHINOOK - min. size 22". Other SALMON species - no min. size. Daily limit 2. Release wild CHINOOK. See Agate Pass Area.

MARINE AREA 12 - South of Ayock Point - SALMON: July 1-Sept. 30: CHINOOK - min. size 22". Other SALMON species - no min. size. Daily limit 4. Release CHUM and wild CHINOOK.
