Change in daily limit for Stump Lake

Action: The daily limit for trout is changed. Only two trout 15 inches or greater in length may be retained as part of the five fish bag limit.

Effective dates: April 24 through April 30, 2010.

Location: Stump Lake in Mason County.

Species affected: Trout

Reason for action: The daily catch limit rules are intended to extend the time that larger trout (including triploid trout) are available ensuring opportunity for more anglers.

Other information: The trout daily limit will remain at five (5) fish per statewide
general rule. However, only two (2) fish 15 inches or greater in length may be retained within the five (5) fish daily limit.
