Action:
Marine Area 4: Anglers will be allowed to retain 1 chinook as part of their salmon daily limit in Marine Area 4 for two days, Aug. 14 and 15.
Marine Area 2: Anglers will be allowed to retain 2 chinook as part of their salmon daily limit in Marine Area 2 beginning Sat. Aug.15.

Location: Marine Area 4, Neah Bay and Marine Area 2, Westport
Reason for action:
Marine Area 4: The fishery still has some remainder on the chinook guideline in Neah Bay. The current daily limit is 2 salmon, plus 2 additional pink, release chinook, wild coho and chum. For two days, Aug. 14 and 15 the daily limit will change to 2 salmon only 1 of which can be a chinook plus 2 additional pink, release chum and wild coho. The bag limit will revert back to 2 salmon, plus 2 additional pink, release chinook, wild coho and chum beginning Aug.16. In accordance with previously announced rules beginning August 1 chum may not be retained and chinook may not be kept east of the Bonilla Tatoosh line.
Marine Area 2: The fishery has enough remaining on the chinook guideline in Westport to allow the bag limit to be liberalized to 2 chinook. The current daily limit is 2 salmon only 1 of which can be a chinook, release wild coho. Beginning Aug. 15 the daily limit will change to 2 salmon release wild coho.
Other information: The daily limit in Marine Area 1 will remain at 2 salmon only one of which can be a chinook, release wild coho. The daily limit in Marine Area 3 will remain at 2 salmon only one of which can be a chinook, plus 2 additional pink, release wild coho.
