November 6, 2008

Action: Anglers must release chum on the Skagit River

Effective dates: Nov. 10 through Dec. 31, 2008

Species affected: Chum salmon.

Location: Skagit River from mouth to mouth of Cascade River.

Reasons for action: In-season run size estimates indicate that the abundance is less than needed to meet the spawning goal.
