Rules: Salmon daily limit 2. Chinook min. size 22”. Release wild coho and wild Chinook.

Reason for action: The in-season estimate of chum returns to Puget Sound indicate that there are sufficient returning numbers to allow for recreational harvest. Chum salmon will be included as part of the daily limit for salmon in Marine Area 13.

Additional information: Waters of Marine Area 13 not covered above (which include waters surrounding Anderson Island and around the Nisqually River) remain under rules listed in the 2022-23 Sport Fishing Rules pamphlet and require release of chum salmon.
