Coho fisheries open on Snohomish, Skykomish, and Snoqualmie rivers

Action: Opens coho fisheries.

Effective date: Oct. 29 through Nov. 6, 2022

Species affected: Coho salmon.

Locations:

Snohomish River, from mouth to confluence of the Skykomish and Snoqualmie rivers
Skykomish River, from mouth to confluence of North and South forks
Snoqualmie River, from mouth to Snoqualmie Falls

Rule: Salmon daily limit 2. Min. size 12”. Release all salmon other coho.

Reason for action: In-season updates indicate Snohomish River spawning escapement will be met. Returns are sufficient for a recreational harvest fishery.

Additional information: Anglers may retain both wild and hatchery coho in this fishery.
