Coho fisheries open on Snohomish, Skykomish, and Snoqualmie rivers

Action:  Opens coho fisheries.

Effective date:  Oct. 29 through Nov. 6, 2022

Species affected:  Coho salmon.

Locations:  

  • Snohomish River, from mouth to confluence of the Skykomish and Snoqualmie rivers
  • Skykomish River, from mouth to confluence of North and South forks
  • Snoqualmie River, from mouth to Snoqualmie Falls

Rule: Salmon daily limit 2. Min. size 12”. Release all salmon other coho.

 Reason for action:  In-season updates indicate Snohomish River spawning escapement will be met. Returns are sufficient for a recreational harvest fishery.

Additional information:  Anglers may retain both wild and hatchery coho in this fishery.
