Columbia River steelhead recreational fishery delayed

Action: Delays the scheduled steelhead season on the mainstem Columbia River downstream of the Interstate 5 Bridge.

Species affected: Steelhead and chinook jacks.

Effective dates: May 16, 2017 until further notice.

Area: The mainstem Columbia River from Rocky Point upstream to the Interstate 5 Bridge.

Reason for action: There are no allocated spring chinook impacts available for incidental harvest in a steelhead fishery.

All other permanent rules apply.
