Elliott Bay to open additional days of Chinook fishing

Action: Opens salmon season for additional days.

Effective date: Aug. 12 through 11:59 a.m., Aug. 15, 2022.

Species affected: Salmon.

Location: East Elliott Bay (Waters of Elliott Bay between a line from Duwamish Head to Pier 91 up to the mouth of the Duwamish River including Harbor Island (Duwamish Waterways.))

Rule: Open Friday through Monday at noon, August 12th – 15th only. Salmon daily limit is two (2). Chinook min. size is 22”. Other salmon, no min. size.  Release Chum.

 Reason for action: In season information indicates that the expected return is large enough to support an additional weekend of fishing.
