Actions: Enchantment Park Ponds has been renamed Blackbird Island Pond. The pond will be closed to fishing March 20 through June 14, 2009. It will reopen under permanent rule June 15, 2009.

Effective dates: The pond will be closed to fishing starting one hour before sunrise on March 20, 2009 through June 14, 2009.

Species affected: Steelhead and resident trout.

Reason for action: The original Enchantment Park Ponds now named Blackbird Island Pond has been reconstructed for use as both a hatchery steelhead acclimation pond and juvenile angler's pond.
