Gamefish daily limits removed from Hatch Lake and McDowell Lake

Action: Removes daily limits, size restrictions, and fly-fishing only gear restrictions.

Effective date: Sept. 11 through Oct. 11, 2020.

Species affected: All gamefish.

Locations: Hatch Lake (Stevens County) and McDowell Lake (Stevens County).

Reason for action: These lakes are scheduled for rehabilitation using rotenone to remove undesirable fish species. Licensed anglers may harvest any remaining game fish prior to rehabilitation.?

Additional information: McDowell lake anglers may use conventional gear beginning Sept. 11.

These lakes will close to all fishing beginning Oct. 12, 2020 until further notice.

Rehabilitations start the day after these lakes close to fishing. Anglers may not gather fish from these lakes during or after rehabilitations.
