Lingcod season to open on March 13, 2004
in most coastal waters
Action: The season for recreational lingcod opens March 13, 2004.
Effective date: March 13, 2004 through October 15, 2004
Species affected: Lingcod
Location: Marine Areas 1, 2 and 3.
Reason for action: This change is necessary so that state regulations conform to federal regulations for lingcod fishing in coastal waters. The federal government recently changed the opening date of the lingcod season and the requested change would change the opening date under state regulations to match the federal date.
