Action: Closes personal-use sea cucumber harvest in all marine areas in Puget Sound.

Effective date: March 1 through June 30, 2021.

Species affected: Parastichopus californicus, the California or Giant Red Sea Cucumber.

Location: All marine areas.

Reason for action: Sea cucumber harvest in all areas is closed from March 1 through June 30 by co-manager agreement to protect aggregations during their peak spawning season. The closure of personal-use harvest is needed to support both conservation of the species and co-manager agreement.
