Regulation changes for Rat Lake

March 31, 2005

Action: Rule changes for game fish on lake scheduled for rehabilitation

Effective dates: Immediately through June 30, 2005

Species affected: All game fish

Location: Rat Lake, including Mouse Pond, Okanogan County

Reason for Action: Rat Lake is scheduled for rehabilitation (treatment to
remove undesirable fish species, primarily brown bullhead catfish, using a natural chemical compound called rotenone) on May 10, 2005. This allows
an extension of a previous rule change to continue liberal regulations through
May 5, 2005.

Other information: Rat Lake, including Mouse Pond (Okanogan County), effective immediately through May 5, 2005: open to fishing for game fish, size and daily limit none, statewide gear rules apply. Effective May 6, 2005 through June 30, 2005: closed to fishing.
