Salmon fishery to open seven days per week beginning July 29 in Ilwaco, Westport, LaPush

Action: Open Marine Areas 1,2 and 3 to salmon angling seven days per week and a two-salmon daily limit.

Effective date: July 29, 2005

Species affected: All salmon

Location: Marine Areas 1, 2, and 3.

Reason for action: More angling opportunity can be provided while staying within quotas for chinook and coho.

Other information: These areas were previously open five days per week with only one chinook allowed as part of the two-salmon daily limit. The regulations for Neah Bay remain unchanged because fishers there are closer to reaching the quotas on chinook and coho.
