Snohomish, Skykomish, and Snoqualmie rivers coho salmon fisheries extended

Action: Extends coho salmon fishing seasons

Effective date: Immediately, through Nov. 13, 2022

Species affected: Coho salmon

Locations:

  • Snohomish River from mouth to confluence of the Skykomish and Snoqualmie rivers
  • Skykomish River from mouth to confluence of North and South forks
  • Snoqualmie River from mouth to Snoqualmie Falls

Rule: Salmon daily limit is two. Minimum size 12”. Release all salmon other than coho.

Reason for action: In-season updates indicate Snohomish River spawning escapement target remain on track to be met. Returns are sufficient for a recreational harvest fishery.

Additional information: Anglers may retain both wild and hatchery coho salmon in this fishery.
