Snoqualmie River returns to permanent rules for gamefish, opens coho fishing Nov. 8

Action: Returns river to permanent rules and opens salmon season for coho retention.

Effective date: Nov. 8-Dec. 31, 2024.

Species affected: All species.

Location: Snoqualmie River from the mouth to Snoqualmie Falls.

Salmon rules: Daily limit is two coho. Minimum size is 12 inches. Release Chinook and chum. Anti-snagging rule in effect.

Reason for action: In season observations indicate risk of potential angler encounters with Chinook is low in this area.
