Effective date: April 1 through April 30, 2010.

Species affected: All clams and oysters.

Location: Hope Island State Park, which is located in Mason County on Squaxin Passage.

Reason for action: Surveys indicate a decline in the population of butter clams, requiring a shorter season. The season this year will run from May 1 through May 31, 2010.
