Sport halibut fishing will re-open on
May 29 and 31 in Marine Areas 3 and 4

Action: Open recreational fishing for halibut Marine Areas 3 and 4 on Thursday May 29, 2008 and Saturday May 31, 2008.

Effective dates: Open 12:01 a.m., through 11:59 p.m., Thursday, May 29 and 12:01 a.m., through 11:59 p.m., Saturday, May 31, 2008 in Marine Areas 3 (Neah Bay) and 4 (LaPush).

Species affected: Pacific Halibut

Location: Marine Areas 3 and 4 (Neah Bay and La Push)

Reason for action: There is enough halibut quota remaining to provide for this fishery. This rule conforms to federal action taken by Pacific Fisheries Management Council.
