Tulalip Terminal Area Fishery closes for 1 day of salmon fishing on June 15th

Action: Closes the Tulalip Terminal Area Fishery (Tulalip Bubble) to salmon fishing for one day on Saturday, June 15. The fishery will re-open as scheduled on Sunday, June 16.

Effective date: Saturday June 15, 2019

Species affected: Salmon

Location: Waters west of Tulalip Bay and within 2,000 feet of shore from the pilings at Old Bower's Resort, to a fishing boundary marker approximately 1.4 miles northwest of Hermosa Point.

Reason for action: The Tulalip Tribe has scheduled the Tulalip Salmon Ceremony for June 15.

Additional information: The Tulalip Terminal Area Fishery is open Friday through noon on Monday of each week through Sept. 3; except the fishery is closed on June 15. The daily limit is 2 salmon. All other regulations remain in effect.
