Wild coho retention allowed in Westport beginning Aug. 29

Action: Allow the retention of all legal size coho in the recreational fishery in Area 2 beginning Aug. 29 through September 19 or 10,000 fish quota.

Effective dates: Aug. 29 through September 19, 2004


Species affected: Coho

Location: Marine Area 2

Reason for action: A non-selective coho fishery with a reduced quota beginning August 29 will improve the quality of the fishery and stay within allowable impact levels on wild coho.

Other information: All other regulations including daily limit and size restrictions remain in effect.
