WDFW Beach Season Information

Clam, mussel, and oyster seasons OPEN for harvest year-round.

WDFW shellfish seasons indicate the specific times of year when harvesting is permitted. Before heading to the beach, please also check the Department of Health (DOH) information below which is related to health of the shellfish and may be updated daily. To harvest on this beach, it must be both during the WDFW approved season and approved by the DOH.

Harvest profile

Not much is known about shellfish resources on this beach. Oysters are not common at this location.

Facilities

The shoreline area of Lisabeula Park has been improved with a grassy play area, picnic tables, hand carry boat launch, and a designated primitive campsite for the Washington Water Trails system.

Fun facts

Formerly the site of the Lisabeula Resort, it is now a 5.5 acre shoreline park and terrestrial conservancy located on the west side of Vashon Island overlooking Colvos Passage at the end of Southwest 220th Street. The area was named Lisabeula by Postmaster Brink after his two daughters, Eliza and Buelah.
