WDFW Beach Season Information
Clam and mussel seasons OPEN for harvest August 1 through September 15, 2024 only.
Oyster season OPEN for harvest year-round.
Parking is limited to a small parking area and along the shoulder on the east side of Highway 101. Harvesters are urged to use extreme caution when walking from their cars to the beach and back. The dirt lot across the highway is private property. Please avoid trespass.
WDFW shellfish seasons indicate the specific times of year when harvesting is permitted. Before heading to the beach, please also check the Department of Health (DOH) information below which is related to health of the shellfish and may be updated daily. To harvest on this beach, it must be both during the WDFW approved season and approved by the DOH.
Clam populations at Eagle Creek are sometimes too low to allow harvest, but this is an excellent oyster beach. If the beach is open for harvesting during minus 2 foot or lower tides, this site may provide some access to geoducks. Please take care not to cover oysters with sand and mud while digging clams because this will potentially kill the oysters.

From the north (Port Angeles, Kingston) travel south on Highway 101 through the town of Eldon and continue for another four miles to Eagle Creek. The beach is just off the highway on the left side of the road. The Eagle Creek Tavern is right across the road from the beach.
