WDFW Beach Season Information
WDFW shellfish seasons indicate the specific times of year when harvesting is permitted. Before heading to the beach, please also check the Department of Health (DOH) information below which is related to health of the shellfish and may be updated daily. To harvest on this beach, it must be both during the WDFW approved season and approved by the DOH.
Copalis Beach extends from the north jetty at the mouth of Grays Harbor to the Copalis River.
Razor Clam Reserve (Restricted Area)
From a point beginning four-tenths of a mile south of the Ocean City approach (2nd. Ave.) and extending south for one quarter mile on Copalis Beach.
There are several public, maintained access points to the Copalis beach: 2nd Street (in Ocean City), the terminus of HWY 115 (in Oyhut), Chance A La Mer (in Ocean Shores), Pacific Avenue (in Ocean Shores), Ocean Lake Way (in Ocean Shores), and Tarus Street (in Ocean Shores).
