Summary Report of Warmwater Volunteer Angler Diaries 2004

Twenty-seven registered anglers and 9 guest anglers participated in 2004. Useable data was submitted for 504 trips to 53 different bodies of water. A total of 49 black crappie were caught (39 were quality size) and 12% of these fish were released. One channel catfish was caught and it was released. A total of 673 largemouth bass were caught (203 were quality size) and 98% of these fish were released. A total of 420 smallmouth bass (290 were quality size) and 96% of these fish were released. A total of 13 tiger muskie were caught (3 were quality size) and 100% of these fish were released. A total of 994 walleye were caught (554 were quality size) and 59% of these fish were released.
