These biweekly Wildlife Program reports summarize recent, noteworthy activities of our field and headquarters staff. Reports are organized by category for each Division - Game, Lands, Science, and Wildlife Diversity - and Region - Eastern, North Central, South Central, North Puget Sound, Southwest, and Coastal - that has reported highlights during the report period:

  • Managing wildlife populations
  • Providing recreation opportunities
  • Providing conflict prevention and education
  • Conserving natural landscapes
  • Providing education and outreach
  • Conducting business operations and policy

Please note: wildlife biologists must sometimes conduct work with injured, sick, or dead wildlife, or perform work that may be sensitive to some audiences. WDFW may include images of this nature in these reports, particularly when doing so is educational to the public.
