High school students explore how natural resource managers adapt their work to reduce species loss and plan for changing seasons, habitats, and phenological patterns. Students define and list threats to biodiversity and investigate how biodiversity impacts their life. They explore how natural resource managers adapt their work to reduce species loss and plan for changing seasons, habitats, and phenological patterns.
Ultimately, students will create a model to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 2 degrees Celsius and they will evaluate what positive and negative effects their solutions will have on biological, cultural, and economic systems.
